Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript (AWS)

We are seeking a talented Senior Automation Tester with JavaScript expertise to join our remote team, working on an innovative project that aims to revolutionize the way people interact with data.

As a Senior Automation Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions, utilizing your expertise in automated testing in JS and AWS Lambda. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute test cases, identify and report issues, and contribute to the enhancement of our products' user experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automated test cases using JavaScript and Cypress, ensuring the reliability and quality of our software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review software requirements, identify test scenarios, and execute tests
  • Identify and report issues, bugs, and usability problems, providing valuable insights to the development team
  • Contribute to the enhancement of user experiences by providing feedback and insights on software functionality and usability
  • Ensure the quality control of automated test cases and test results, maintaining high standards of testing and performance
  • Utilize AWS Lambda and OpenSearch to facilitate cloud-based testing and deployment
  • Participate in design and code reviews, offering input on requirements, product design, and potential challenges
  • Contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks and best practices, ensuring continuous improvement of our testing processes
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Automated Testing, demonstrating your proficiency in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using JavaScript
  • Experience in AWS Lambda and OpenSearch
  • Proficiency in using Cypress or other preferred automation tools
  • Working knowledge of ReactJS
  • Understanding of front-end development and its integration with automated testing
  • Excellent communication skills and strong critical thinking capabilities, allowing you to effectively convey feedback and insights to cross-functional teams
  • Strong focus on teamwork and exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with team members across different locations and time zones
  • Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively, maintaining a high level of performance even under pressure
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication

  • Experience in load and performance testing
  • Experience in developing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
