Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript (AWS)

We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript to join our remote team, working on a cutting-edge project that leverages the latest in cloud computing and web technologies.

As a Senior Automation Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing scripts, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues. Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement automated testing scripts using JavaScript-based frameworks and tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions
  • Create and maintain testing environments in AWS, including deployment and testing
  • Manage and automate testing workflows using Git and Jenkins
  • Analyze test results and provide valuable insights to the development team
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for automation testing
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the testing team
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Automation Testing, with a strong focus on JavaScript-based frameworks and tools such as WebdriverIO, Mocha, and Protractor
  • Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including experience with deployment and testing in AWS environments
  • Proficiency in Git and Jenkins
  • Strong experience in writing and executing automated test scripts using Gherkin syntax
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing, including mobile testing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential issues
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher (B2+)
Nice to have
  • Experience with load testing and performance testing
  • Familiarity with other automation testing frameworks and tools
  • Experience with other cloud computing platforms and technologies
