We are looking for a skilled remote Senior Automation Tester with expertise in JavaScript to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for writing and updating Cucumber feature files to ensure test scenarios contain adequate coverage for each JIRA story, participating in the selection of test scenarios to automate, and developing automation scripts and frameworks. You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience writing Cucumber feature files, Node.js automation experience, and experience with JIRA, Confluence, and REST APIs. You should have a great attitude, enjoy collaborating and communicating with a team, be passionate about quality testing, and have an attitude of teachability.

Responsibilities

Write and update Cucumber feature files to ensure test scenarios contain adequate coverage for each JIRA story
Work with automation team and the QA Lead to select test scenarios to automate and implement them
Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks
Collaborate with the product owner, business analyst, and design specialist to understand requirements and acceptance criteria for each story within JIRA
Work closely with the team to ensure high-quality testing through the entire development cycle

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Automated Testing using JavaScript
Node.js automation experience
Experience with Cucumber
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and REST APIs
Experience testing web-based applications
Experience with AWS Cloud and cloud-based testing
Knowledge of build tools like npm, yarn, and loggers like Log4js or Winston
Familiarity with Protractor, WebdriverIO, Cypress, Jasmine, and Puppeteer
Good attitude, excellent communication skills, and willingness to learn
Passionate about quality testing and problem-solving
B2+ English level

Nice to have

Experience with SuperTest, Jest, Mocha, and Selenium
Experience with code analysis tools such as SonarQube, eslint, or istanbul
