Senior Automation Tester in Java

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Senior Automation Tester with strong expertise in Java to join our dynamic team.

You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through the creation and execution of comprehensive automation test suites. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality solutions and thrive in fast-paced environments, we would love to meet you.

Responsibilities
  • Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
  • Automate regression, functional, and smoke test cases using well-known frameworks
  • Plan and execute automation tasks, ensuring strict adherence to testing standards
  • Integrate automated test cycles seamlessly into the continuous DevOps pipeline
  • Investigate and resolve system issues creatively and efficiently
  • Automate testing for back-end services such as REST APIs and front-end components
  • Document and report defects with a clear understanding of their impact
  • Manage test data and environments to ensure smooth test execution
  • Organize test script versions and maintain version control best practices
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, including 3+ years of test automation or a combination of development and testing roles
  • Knowledge of REST & SOAP API testing with tools such as SOAPUI and Groovy scripting
  • Expertise in Selenium or similar automation tools, combined with Java programming skills
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining automation scripts for functional, integration, and regression scenarios
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test suites
  • Competency in manual testing with robust attention to detail
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, including sprint planning and collaboration
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
  • Client-facing interaction capabilities and clear communication, both verbal and written
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Skills in Apache Maven or Gradle for build and dependency management
  • Knowledge of Mainframe operations
  • Background in financial services or wealth management contexts
