Senior Automation Tester in Java

We are currently looking for a seasoned and enthusiastic Senior Automation Tester with proficiency in Java to become part of our dynamic team.

The selected candidate will take responsibility for developing, executing, and refining automated tests to ensure top-tier quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities
  • Design functional, integration, and acceptance tests
  • Develop automated tests for regression, functional, and smoke testing
  • Incorporate testing phases seamlessly into the DevOps pipeline
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues promptly
  • Perform automation testing for backend systems
  • Document defects and deliver detailed reports
  • Coordinate and manage test data and environments
  • Maintain version control over test scripts
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master’s degree is highly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in test automation development
  • Proficiency in Gradle, Groovy, Java, Selenium, and Serenity BDD
  • Proven experience in creating and maintaining automation scripts
  • Capability to design and implement testing frameworks from the ground up
  • Knowledge of white box testing and mocking techniques
  • Strong familiarity with agile methodologies and excellent analytical abilities
  • Expertise in functional, integration, and regression testing approaches
  • Competency in writing unit tests for edge cases, usability, and reliability scenarios
  • Understanding of manual testing methods and best practices
  • Qualifications to integrate testing strategies within CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong documentation skills and proficiency in English (B2 level or higher)
Nice to have
  • Background in implementing CI/CD methodologies
  • Familiarity with GitHub
  • Understanding of Kubernetes
