Senior Automation Tester in Java

We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Senior Automation Tester with proficiency in Java to become a key part of our dynamic team.

The selected candidate will focus on developing, implementing, and refining automated tests to ensure the highest quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities
  • Design functional, integration, and acceptance tests
  • Automate regression, functional, and smoke testing processes
  • Integrate testing phases seamlessly into the DevOps pipeline
  • Diagnose and resolve system anomalies quickly
  • Conduct automation testing for backend systems
  • Document defects and create detailed reports
  • Organize test data and environments efficiently
  • Maintain version control for test scripts
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including 2 or more years in test automation development
  • Proficiency in Gradle, Groovy, Java, Selenium, and Serenity BDD
  • Strong background in developing and maintaining automation scripts
  • Capability to create testing frameworks from the ground up
  • Knowledge of white box testing and mocking practices
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies alongside excellent analytical abilities
  • Background in functional, integration, and regression testing
  • Skills in crafting unit tests for edge cases, usability, and reliability
  • Understanding of manual testing techniques
  • Expertise in incorporating testing strategies into CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in documentation and English language skills (B2 level or higher)
Nice to have
  • Background in CI/CD methodologies
  • Familiarity with GitHub
  • Understanding of Kubernetes
