Senior Automation Tester in Java

Automated Testing in Java, Gradle, Groovy, Java, Selenium, Serenity BDD, Testing Tools

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Automation Tester in Java to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing automation tests to ensure the highest quality standards in our software development processes. Responsibilities
  • Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
  • Automate test cases for regression testing, functional testing, and smoke testing
  • Integrate test cycles with the DevOps pipeline
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues effectively
  • Test automation for backend services
  • Document and report defects
  • Manage test data and test environment
  • Oversee test script version management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance with at least 2+ years in test automation development
  • Proficiency in using Gradle, Groovy, Java, Selenium, and Serenity BDD
  • Background in creating and maintaining automation scripts
  • Expertise in setting up testing frameworks from scratch
  • Knowledge of white box testing and mocking functionality
  • Proficiency in agile methodology and strong analytical skills
  • Qualifications in functional, integration, and regression testing
  • Skills in writing unit tests to cover edge cases, usability, and reliability
  • Understanding of manual testing at a good level
  • Experience in integrating test suites with CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent documentation skills and English proficiency (B2 level or higher)

  • Familiarity with GitHub
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes
