Senior Automation Tester in Java

We are looking for a skilled Senior Automation Tester with expertise in Java to be part of our innovative team.

In this role, you will drive software quality improvements by building reliable testing frameworks, collaborating with developers and stakeholders, and supporting the seamless incorporation of automated tests into our development workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
  • Automate test procedures for regression, functional, and smoke testing
  • Plan and execute automation activities while adhering to team testing standards
  • Ensure seamless integration of test cycles into the DevOps pipeline
  • Collaborate to identify and resolve system issues effectively
  • Develop automated testing solutions for both back-end services (REST APIs) and front-end applications
  • Document and communicate defects clearly
  • Organize and manage test data and environments
  • Handle version control of test scripts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with preference for a Master's degree
  • 4+ years of experience in QA, including 3+ years specializing in test automation or a hybrid of development and testing roles
  • Expertise in REST and SOAP API testing, with preference for experience using SOAPUI and Groovy scripting
  • Proficiency in Selenium or comparable automation tools
  • Background in designing and maintaining automation scripts aligned with acceptance criteria
  • Experience in agile methodologies complemented by strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and analytical capabilities with effective troubleshooting skills
  • Competency in functional, integration, and regression testing with an emphasis on thoroughness
  • Knowledge of manual testing at an advanced level
  • Familiarity with embedding test suites within CI/CD pipelines
  • Proven experience in Financial Services or Wealth Management considered a valuable asset
  • Strong communication competencies, including clear documentation skills
  • Capability to maintain professional interactions and communicate effectively in English at a B2 level or higher
