Senior Automation Tester in Java

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester to join our dedicated and collaborative team.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of a critical component of our application, the Pricing/Quotes services, which processes millions of requests daily across multiple areas within the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
  • Automate test cases for regression, functional, and smoke testing
  • Plan and execute automation tasks while ensuring adherence to testing standards within the team
  • Integrate test cycles with the DevOps pipeline
  • Work creatively and efficiently to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Automate testing for back-end services
  • Document and report defects accurately
  • Manage test data and test environments effectively
  • Handle test script version control and maintenance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • At least 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience, with 3+ years dedicated to test automation or a blend of development and testing
  • Experience in creating and maintaining automation scripts to meet acceptance criteria
  • Expertise in building testing frameworks from scratch
  • Whitebox testing experience and proven ability to mock functionality
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience in agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated competency in functional, integration, and regression testing
  • Proficiency in writing unit tests covering edge cases, usability, and reliability
  • Solid knowledge of manual testing at an advanced level
  • Experience integrating test suites with CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
  • Background in financial services or wealth management is highly desirable
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Groovy scripting
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
