Senior Automation Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled remote Senior Automation Tester to join our team.

As a Senior Automation Tester, you will work closely with our product owner, development team, and architects to define test strategies and execute test cases. You will also be responsible for automating test cases for regression testing and integrating test cycles with our DevOps pipeline. Responsibilities
  • Define test strategies in collaboration with product owner, development team, and architects
  • Leverage an existing automation test architecture or build automation architecture from scratch
  • Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
  • Execute test cases manually and automate test cases for regression testing
  • Plan and execute automation tasks and ensure testing standards are followed within the team
  • Integrate test cycles with DevOps pipeline
  • Evaluate tools and technology, recommend framework, and ability to do proof of concept
  • Document, track, prioritize, and report defects
  • Manage test data and test environment
  • Manage test script version
  • Define, capture, and report testing metrics
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar or Master's degree in Computer Science
  • 3+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance
  • Experience with Javascript
  • Experience in test automation development or combination of development and testing experience using Cucumber, RestAssured, Appache clients – libraries, HP Quick Test Professional, Selenium Webdriver, or similar automation tools
  • Understanding of AWS cloud data stack
  • Must have experience testing both front end and back end (services)
  • Excellent experience with functional, integration, regression testing
  • Experience in writing unit tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
  • Experience in test automation using BDD tools
  • B2+ English level
