We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

This position focuses on designing, developing, and executing automated tests using modern tools and frameworks, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality assurance initiatives. If you are passionate about automation and testing, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

Design and build automated testing frameworks with JavaScript and TypeScript
Develop and run automated test scripts using Playwright for web application validation
Create reusable and maintainable test cases utilizing the Chai Assertion Library
Implement behavior-driven development (BDD) testing practices with Cucumber JS
Manage and organize test scripts within a Git-based version control system
Work collaboratively with development and QA teams to define testing strategies and align on methodologies
Identify defects, document findings, and analyze issues to support continuous improvement in automation

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an Automation Tester
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for creating automated test solutions
Hands-on experience with Playwright for web application testing automation
Strong understanding of testing frameworks like Chai Assertion Library and Cucumber JS
Experience working with Git for version control and collaborative development
Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher to ensure effective communication

Nice to have

Experience with BitBucket for managing code repositories
Knowledge of Jenkins for setting up continuous integration and deployment workflows
Familiarity with Jira for tracking tasks and managing project workflows
Understanding of the Xray plugin for Jira to integrate test management into project processes
