We are seeking a skilled Senior Automated Testing Engineer (Java) to join our team. As a Senior Automated Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing automated tests (UI + API) in Java, analyzing regression runs, mentoring less experienced colleagues, and participating as a member of an agile scrum team. Additionally, you will be involved in manual testing, clarifying test scenarios and acceptance criteria, and coordinating with business partners for UAT closure.
Responsibilities
- Develop automated tests (UI + API) in Java to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications
- Analyze regression runs to identify and address any potential issues or performance concerns
- Mentor less experienced colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices in automated testing
- Participate as a member of an agile scrum team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software
- Conduct manual testing as needed, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and accuracy
- Clarify test scenarios and acceptance criteria, ensuring clear understanding and alignment across the team
- Coordinate with business partners conducting UAT to ensure smooth closure of user stories
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant working experience
- Proven experience in automated testing, with a strong focus on QE/Functional Testing, REST Assured, and Regression testing
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and manipulation
- Hands-on experience with Selenide and Selenium for automated UI testing
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and working as part of an agile scrum team
- Experience in mentoring and coaching junior team members in automated testing best practices
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business partners for UAT closure
