We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automated Tester specializing in JavaScript to join our team.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who can work well with others while also demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This role requires someone who can take high-level direction, figure out details, and deliver quality results.
Responsibilities
- Select and work on "ready to test" stories from the project board
- Perform manual testing to verify functionality and ensure quality
- Add test cases to the existing automated test suite for comprehensive coverage
- Collaborate with team members to ensure testing aligns with project requirements and goals
- Identify and report bugs, working closely with developers to resolve issues
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in test automation
- Hands-on experience with test automation using Playwright in TypeScript
- Proven expertise in parallel testing and API testing
- Strong understanding of test design principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and work ethics
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken) at a B2+ level or higher
Nice to have
- Proficiency in CSS and the ability to effectively locate and interact with web elements
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipeline and CI/CD practices
- Familiarity with Cypress.io for test automation
- Knowledge of Java for additional testing capabilities
