We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Application Support Engineer to support and maintain an enterprise-grade digital workplace platform. Built on a microfrontend architecture and hosted on Azure, the platform integrates critical internal systems such as SAP, CTS, eCorrespondence, and Viva Learning into a unified web and mobile experience. The platform also features AI-driven services, real-time notifications, and enterprise search capabilities.
As a Senior IT Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the platform’s infrastructure and services. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across the application stack, and for coordinating with cross-functional teams when escalations are required.
- Provide end-to-end support for the platform’s services, RESTful APIs, and microfrontend modules
- Monitor application health, availability, and performance using Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, and related tools
- Manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Application Gateway and Web Application Firewall (WAF), Azure Cosmos DB Accounts, and Azure SQL Servers configurations
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across infrastructure and application layers, ensuring minimal downtime
- Coordinate with DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to escalate and resolve issues requiring elevated privileges
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely updates and resolution of technical issues
- Participate in feature rollouts, regression testing, and post-deployment validation
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise application support or DevOps roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure services: AKS, Application Gateway, WAF, Functions, App Services, Key Vault, and others
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Background in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Skills in monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace and Azure Monitor
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Az-104
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- ITIL Foundation certification
