We are seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team and take ownership of maintaining and optimizing critical business applications.
You will play a key role in ensuring system stability, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve application performance. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for business-critical applications to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify and resolve issues
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and implement fixes for system-related problems
- Manage application support tools to track and resolve incidents efficiently
- Maintain and optimize application environments hosted on Microsoft Azure
- Administer and support Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment workflows
- Analyze and write SQL queries to troubleshoot and optimize database-related application issues
- Utilize ServiceNow for incident tracking, reporting, and resolution management
- Document processes, solutions, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in application support with a proven track record of handling complex issues
- Experience with application support tools to manage and resolve incidents effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure for managing and optimizing cloud-hosted application environments
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for managing CI/CD workflows and deployments
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying, analyzing, and troubleshooting database-related issues
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident management and tracking
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with scripting or automation tools to streamline support processes
- Exposure to ITIL frameworks or other industry-standard practices for application support management
