We are seeking a talented Senior AI Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement AI systems and applications for our self-service engineering platform. This role combines expertise in software development and data engineering, enabling productivity enhancements and automation for engineers within our global client’s innovative insurance ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain back-end systems, microservices, and REST APIs
Collaborate closely with architects, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of solutions
Implement AI-driven features using tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot
Develop front-end solutions with proficiency using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ReactJS, and React Hooks
Execute prompt engineering processes to optimize AI outputs
Utilize expertise in AI Agents, MCP (Model Context Protocol), and related technologies for system implementation
Contribute to the AI integration within the Travelers Engineering Platform (TEP) to enhance automation of user workflows
Maintain flexibility in handling partially defined scopes of work, ensuring delivery aligns with project objectives
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using Python
Drive improvements in cloud-based architecture with Anthropic Claude and Amazon Web Services

Requirements

3+ years of experience designing and developing back-end systems, microservices, and REST APIs
Proficiency in TypeScript and understanding of tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot
Background in MCP, AI Agents, and prompt engineering
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ReactJS, and familiarity with React Hooks
Competency in cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services
Showcase of Python development skills for AI systems
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in teams and independently
Understanding of cross-functional workflows, with the flexibility to manage ambiguous tasks
B1+ English level proficiency

Nice to have

Familiarity with DevOps and its integration into engineering workflows
Background in Node.js API and related server-side technologies
