We are seeking a Senior Accessibility Tester to join our remote team.
The Senior Accessibility Tester is integral in upholding the quality of our product offerings. Tasks include managing the backlog of testing requests, performing accessibility tests on specific products, and identifying defects. Additionally, you will guide other testers, contribute to the creation of test plans and scripts, produce documentation, and offer recommendations based on insights from testing.
A solid grasp of accessibility standards and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), extensive knowledge of assistive technologies, automated testing tools, and a background in accessibility testing are essential for success in this role.

- Maintain a pivotal role in the full-cycle quality assurance across a diverse product portfolio, managing and executing testing requests
- Collaborate with stakeholders from Design, Product Management, and Product Engineering to support testing throughout the product development process
- Partner with the Testing Lead to ensure timely and accurate completion of testing requests
- Serve as an expert in accessibility testing, providing data-driven recommendations and guiding testing decisions
- Coach other accessibility testers
- Help develop test plans, scripts, and additional accessibility testing documentation
- Collaborate with the Accessibility Test Lead to develop and apply accessibility training for the testing team
- Perform quality audits and recommend strategies to minimize quality errors
- Demonstrate expertise in complex products and operate independently with little guidance
- Cultivate a positive, cooperative team atmosphere that encourages innovation and respectful dialogue
- Uphold the accessibility policy and guidelines
- Keep abreast of new accessibility standards and industry trends
- Continuously enhance your accessibility testing skills and knowledg
- BA/BS in information science, information design, computer science, related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years of testing experience in software development, web development, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accessibility-related field
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 (AA) guidelines
- Proficiency in assistive technologies and accessibility-related software including JAWS® and NVDA, and automated testing tools
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar for bug logging and tracking
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate testing activities across multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to create test plans and scripts
- Capacity to influence and improve processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience interacting with high-level stakeholders
- Experience with Figma for design collaboration and prototyping
- Knowledge of UX design principles
