Senior Accessibility Specialist
We are looking for a remote Senior Accessibility Specialist to join our distributed global team for one of the largest EPAM accounts. Our team is passionate about creating valuable customer experiences across platforms and touchpoints and values individuals who are collaborative, take ownership, and are eager to make others successful. This specialist will deliver A11Y services, reviewing ongoing product designs and providing real-time feedback to the Design team.
Responsibilities
- Review ongoing product designs to ensure compliance with Accessibility Standards
- Provide real-time feedback to the Design team on accessibility issues and recommend solutions
- Annotate all final designs for handoff to the Product Team to ensure compliance with Accessibility Standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Product, and Development teams to ensure accessibility requirements are met
- Conduct regular accessibility evaluations of websites and applications and provide recommendations for improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in accessibility technology and practices
- Mentor junior Accessibility Specialists and contribute to team learning and development
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Accessibility Specialist or related role
- Expertise in Accessibility Analysis, Accessibility Evaluation, Accessibility Fundamentals
- Experience working with Global A11Y standards
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex A11Y issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- B2+ English level proficiency
