Python Developer

We are searching for a proactive, curious, and continuously learning Python Developer to become part of our Data service team.

This individual should fully own their responsibilities, ask necessary questions when required, and suggest fresh insights or methods.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver user stories that meet client needs within deadlines using best practices
  • Address bugs and sustain the service by being available during office hours on a rotating basis every 1-2 weeks
  • Engage in meetings including planning, grooming, refinement as well as code reviews
Requirements
  • Competency in Python core elements (decorators, slicing, list comprehension) with the ability to produce readable and maintainable code
  • Background in AWS services like Lambda, Step Functions, IAM (cross-account access)
  • Qualifications in SQL essentials (creating simple queries, aggregate operations, JOINs)
  • Proficiency in understanding REST API and its protocols
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing environments without compromising performance
  • Capability to troubleshoot and investigate independently without additional supervision
Nice to have
  • Background or experience in the AI/ML field, including data preparation and labeling for ML models
  • Expertise in AWS services such as API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, S3, CodeBuild/CodePipeline
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and IaC strategy
