We seek a proactive, curious Python Developer desiring ongoing learning opportunities to become part of our Data Service team.

This individual will need to fully manage project scopes, pose insightful questions when necessary, and suggest innovative ideas or methodologies.

Responsibilities

Implement user stories aligning with client specifications within deadlines while adhering to best practices
Address bugs and ensure service maintenance, providing on-call support during working hours (rotating every 1-2 weeks)
Engage in planning, grooming, and refinement sessions and participate in code reviews

Requirements

Proficiency in Python core concepts (decorators, slicing, list comprehension)
Expertise in AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, and IAM (cross-account access)
Understanding of SQL basics (writing simple queries, aggregate operations, JOINs)
Solid knowledge of REST API and its standards
Flexibility to maintain performance in a changing environment
Capability to debug issues independently

Nice to have

Qualifications in AI/ML, including data preparation and labeling for ML models
Background in AWS services like API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, S3, CodeBuilder/CodePipeline
Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and IaC approaches
