We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to join our team, leveraging expertise to lead strategic, high-impact programs for a global leader in paints, coatings, and specialty materials. The ideal candidate will bring advanced project management skills, fluency in French, and a track record of managing complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders and layers of management.
Responsibilities
- Engage effectively with senior executives and middle management across global teams
- Collaborate strategically with program sponsors, project leaders, and cross-functional project teams
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, managing engagement across functional and regional layers
- Supervise vendor performance management, ensuring long-term partnership success and optimal outcomes
- Lead complex, multi-layer programs combining IT and non-IT components across domains, geographies, and functions
- Manage high-complexity multi-SBU/Function global programs, including multi-regional dependencies
- Ensure robust risk management across programs, guiding team members and mentoring them in best practices
- Drive transformation efforts by establishing integrated change control for large-scale programs
- Maintain project alignment while proactively identifying opportunities for process enhancements
- Establish continuous improvement strategies, helping refine framework and methodology across programs
- Guide geographically diverse teams while navigating conflicts and promoting collaborative decision-making
- Define, implement, and enforce advanced project management practices for global initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to team members, enabling skill and leadership development
Requirements
- Four-year degree or higher in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Management, with significant experience at a global scale
- Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Concur, and SEEBURGER, as well as expertise in legal electronic invoicing, is highly desirable
- Strong expertise in established project management methodologies with demonstrable application in both IT and non-IT domains
- Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills combined with conceptual problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record in overseeing vendor management and enterprise-level project delivery across multiple regions
- Highly skilled in developing talent, promoting growth, and resolving team conflicts at a global level
- Strong communication abilities, capable of synthesizing technical details and presenting to C-suite executives
- Capability to influence business stakeholders using functional and business insights
- Flexibility to operate remotely while achieving results at scale with minimal supervision
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level) for clear, effective communication and stakeholder collaboration
Nice to have
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent advanced certifications
- Proficiency in tools like Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework, particularly in enterprise-level programs
