Responsibilities
- Consistently and promptly complete Jira tickets as delegated
- Adhere to SDLC processes and best practices
- Implement frontend, backend, and middleware components to support core systems
- Provide input, ideas, and suggestions to improve system functionality
- Maintain thorough documentation of code and related tests
- Attend required meetings and collaborate with team members
- Help onboard other engineers on new features and functionality
- Assign appropriate user access based on login credentials
- Regularly push code to company repositories
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Node.js developer
- Strong technical skills in Node.js and React.js, with familiarity with MERN stack or similar
- Experience with JSON-based REST APIs and events-based architecture
- Expertise in writing unit tests and smoke tests for robust code quality
- Proficiency in integrating with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Competency in Git, including branch management and pull request workflows
- UI development skills, particularly in converting Figma designs into user-friendly interfaces while adhering to a style guide
- Familiarity with integration with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) providers
- Flexibility to work within Jira and consistently document feature changes
- Good spoken English (B1+ level) to directly communicate with the client team
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Understanding of GitHub workflows and management
- Proficiency in working with GraphQL APIs
- Competency in Unix-based systems, including basic scripting and server management
