Responsibilities
- Develop applications using ABAP including object-oriented programming and RESTful ABAP programming model (RAP)
- Create Core Data Services (CDS) Views and implement OData services for seamless Fiori integration
- Implement system enhancements adhering to Clean ABAP coding standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate client requirements into technical solutions
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing ABAP programs and SAP S/4HANA modules
- Utilize ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse for efficient coding and debugging
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with best practices
- Document development processes and maintain technical specifications
- Support deployment and testing activities to ensure smooth application rollout
- Provide technical guidance and support during project implementation
Requirements
- Consultant level experience (E2) with 2-4 years of relevant SAP experience
- Strong experience in SAP ABAP development and S/4HANA environments
- Proficiency in RAP, CDS, and OData service development
- Experience using ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse
- Knowledge of Clean ABAP principles and object-oriented programming
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2 level) to interact with international teams and documentation
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SAP BTP ABAP Cloud environment
- Exposure to artificial intelligence (AI) integration within SAP landscapes
