Currently, we are looking for a remote Middle Java Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full life-cycle of software development; including analysis, design, implementation and testing of new projects and features using the following technologies: SQL, Java, Eclipse, Spring, XML, JUnit, Java Concurrency, JavaScript, REST and several open source tools and design patterns
- Collaborate with architects and technical leads on design decisions and direction
- Be able to proactively adapt to new technologies and changing requirements
- Contribute to project development estimates and timelines
- Work collaboratively with others in a team-based environment
- Investigate and resolve issues in development, test and production environment
- Generate innovative approaches and solutions to technology challenges
- Communicate the knowledge to fellow team members. Train and guide junior team members
- Analyze high level requirements and work with team members to create quality results
- Participate in internal and external meetings
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in developing Java web-based applications using Java, JavaScript (JQuery), Spring (MVC & Inversion of Control), XHTML, Eclipse, Tomcat, CSS, Hibernate, AWS
- Experience with Java, J2EE and object-oriented analysis and design principles
- Quick learner, eager to leverage new technologies in a dynamic team environment
- SQL experience
- Web Services, AJAX, REST, JSON experience
- Junit experience
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Experience in data model and object design
- Strong understanding of OOP principles
- Strong knowledge of English language
- Communication skills: voice/e-mail
