Middle Java Developer

Remote in Mexico

We are seeking a Middle Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and improvement of a client solution aimed at enhancing developer efficiency within engineering teams.

This position involves working on the full lifecycle management of servers and applications, focusing on delivering reliable and scalable results.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain Java-based software solutions and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements for development
  • Improve application performance and ensure scalability for enterprise use cases
  • Apply software development best practices, including testing and code reviews
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems effectively and efficiently
  • Work with team members to ensure alignment with project deadlines and objectives
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a Java Developer
  • Strong knowledge of the Spring framework, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC, for building robust applications
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for tackling technical challenges
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) at a B2 level or higher for clear communication
Nice to have
  • Experience with integration technologies and patterns, such as APIs, web services, and microservices
  • Background in creating tools that improve developer productivity and workflows
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools and platforms to support advanced development tasks
  • Understanding of prompting engineering concepts and their practical applications in development
