We are seeking a remote Middle iOS Swift Developer to join our team and contribute to our projects. As a high-performing individual contributor, you will apply new engineering principles to improve existing systems and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. You will be working on a project with a GraphQL implementation and 2+ years of experience is expected.
Responsibilities
- Develop and test complex or non-routine software applications and related programs and procedures to ensure they meet design requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build an understanding of cross dependencies and shared problem-solving
- Participate in a community of practice to share and gain knowledge, continually seeking new technical skills in an engineering area
- Share new skills and knowledge with the team to increase effectiveness
- Demonstrate knowledge of advanced and relevant technology, being comfortable working with several forms of technology
- Understand the relationship between applications, databases, and technology platforms
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in iOS development with proficiency in Swift
- Proficiency in Xcode and experience working with GraphQL
- Expertise in creating APIs to be consumed across the business unit
- Experience with testing and monitoring tools, debugging applications, and fixing issues within established SLAs
- Ability to identify business problems at the project level and provide solutions
- Understanding of software design principles and ability to design moderately complex systems
- Experience working with multiple technology implementations and selecting among technology available to implement and solve for need
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Upper-Intermediate level of English language proficiency
