Middle Functional Tester

We are inviting a Middle Functional Tester to become an integral part of our team, contributing to the evolution of an advanced Procurement platform. In this role, the Functional Tester will be crucial in ensuring the platform's quality and reliability through the careful creation, execution, and upkeep of extensive test plans and cases. Your meticulous testing efforts will be key to maintaining our software's high standards of functionality and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Craft comprehensive test plans, strategies, and cases to evaluate the Procurement platform’s quality and functionality
- Manually perform test cases while also employing automation tools to detect defects and ensure product functionality
- Log and track defects accurately, working closely with development teams to facilitate resolutions
- Perform regression testing to confirm that new updates do not adversely affect the existing functionalities
- Collaborate with development, product management, and other teams to maintain high quality standards for the platform
- Identify and apply improvements to testing procedures and tools to enhance quality and efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Functional Testing
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies
- Proficient in various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Capable of working effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
- Proficient in English with effective communication skills at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks
- Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) setting
- Eagerness to keep abreast of the latest testing trends and technologies
