We are looking for a talented Middle DevOps Engineer to join our remote team, working with a leading provider of cloud-based solutions. As a Middle DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing continuous delivery pipelines that provision and operate client test as well as production environments. You will also provide systems support, including responding to monitoring alerts, and stay up-to-date with the latest Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling. Responsibilities
- Design and implement continuous delivery pipelines using industry-standard deployment and configuration tools
- Provision and operate client test and production environments, ensuring high availability and scalability
- Respond to monitoring alerts and provide systems support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements
- Participate in code reviews, identifying potential issues and offering suggestions for improvement
- Develop and maintain documentation related to deployment and configuration processes
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Amazon Web Services, demonstrating your proficiency in deploying and managing applications in AWS
- In-depth knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Scripting Languages, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service, enabling you to design and implement deployment automation using industry-standard tools
- Experience in designing and implementing continuous delivery pipelines, showcasing your understanding of DevOps principles and practices
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to identify and resolve complex issues
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with other Cloud providers, such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Ansible or Chef
- Experience with other monitoring and alerting tools, such as Nagios or Zabbix
- Experience with container orchestration tools, such as Nomad or Mesos
