Middle Data Software Engineer

We are seeking a Middle Data Software Engineer to join our team, focused on managing and enhancing our data processing framework. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational experience who are eager to further advance their skills within a dynamic, high-demand tech environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and optimize data pipelines and the lifecycle of cloud-based services
  • Manage access and onboard new workloads to our data framework
  • Handle data replication processes and cost optimization initiatives
  • Facilitate the migration of workloads between different versions of our data framework
  • Extend the data framework based on evolving business requirements
  • Collaborate with various teams to integrate new developments and provide ongoing support
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Skills in PySpark operations
  • Experience in Azure DevOps and Azure Databricks
  • Familiarity with popular cloud platforms and relevant operations
  • Competency in infrastructure code tools and processes for continuous integration and deployment
  • Background in data services, access management, and storage solutions
  • Capability to handle high-load environments and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with cross-functional and international teams
  • Understanding of data governance, quality standards, and CI/CD pipelines
  • B2 level of English or higher, with an emphasis on technical communication skills
Nice to have
  • Experience with migration of workloads between different versions of data frameworks
  • Proficiency in optimizing data pipelines and cost management
  • Prior experience in a multinational team environment
