Middle Business Analyst
We are in search of a skilled Middle Business Analyst to join our agile scrum team responsible for delivering high-quality digital solutions for a software vendor that provides a booking system to airline companies. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementations, helping ensure clear communication and alignment within a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document business requirements
- Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and delivery managers to align technical solutions with business goals
- Contribute to the refinement and prioritization of the product backlog to optimize team delivery
- Map existing workflow processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Help design and validate solutions leveraging microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture principles
- Facilitate regular requirement validation and ensure clarity on project scope and objectives
- Support the integration and scalability of technical systems, ensuring they align with business needs
- Analyze and resolve challenges in application development, data layers, and infrastructure pipelines
- Provide consistent updates to stakeholders and ensure alignment across all phases of delivery
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis roles within Agile environments
- Knowledge of C#, microservices development, and event-driven architectures
- Understanding of API-first development approaches
- Background in GitOps tools, with flexibility to utilize Kustomize, Helm, or ArgoCD
- Proficiency in database technologies including Graph DB (Neo4j), NoSQL (Cosmos, Mongo, Cassandra), and SQL databases
- Familiarity with Kafka systems for event-driven communication patterns
- Competency in Agile methodologies, including backlog management and user story creation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex project demands
- English fluency at C1 level or higher
Nice to have
- Background in NDC (New Distribution Capability) and One-Order standards
- History of working within the airline booking domain
- Familiarity with aviation-related workflows and tools
