Middle Automation Tester in Python

We are seeking a Middle Automation Tester in Python to join our remote team at EPAM. As a key vendor, EPAM conducts testing activities across multiple domains and workstreams for its new customer, encompassing application integration and end-to-end validation of business process flows. This role offers the chance to contribute significantly to the quality assurance process and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Apply Python-based automation frameworks to maximize testing efficiency
- Oversee and manage the Quality Engineering (QE) team's activities, including prioritization and control
- Provide timely updates on testing progress to the Lead and Delivery Manager
- Engage in the full cycle of QE activities, including reviewing and understanding user stories with a focus on business processes and end-to-end testing
- Develop and maintain test cases and scenarios
- Adhere to established testing standards and procedures
- Review test cases created by peers and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure all test cases are available in the central test repository
- Execute tests, identify defects, and document issues
- Present test results and findings at the end of sprint demos
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automation Tester
- Proficient in defect management, including tracking and resolving issues efficiently
- Experience in the healthcare payer sector, with knowledge of medical claims processing and provider management
- Skilled in developing comprehensive test cases and scenarios
- Capable of providing accurate test estimations to support project planning
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance testing capabilities in cloud environments
- Experience with performance testing tools to ensure applications perform optimally under various conditions
