Middle Automation Tester in .NET

We are seeking a Middle Automation Tester with a focus on .NET technologies to join our forward-thinking team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of automated tests that enhance the performance and reliability of an airline booking system across various testing stages.

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute automated tests, including API integration tests and end-to-end integration tests
  • Manage and prioritize test cases based on their importance for smoke and regression testing
  • Collaborate with developers to write unit tests and aid in conducting API and end-to-end integration tests
  • Utilize Visual Studio Test Explorer and Azure DevOps Test Plans to orchestrate test cycles
  • Implement load tests using Azure Load Testing and JMeter, focusing on distributed microservices
  • Conduct targeted manual testing for newly developed features that are difficult to automate
  • Update and maintain test documentation and ensure all tests are aligned with current requirements
  • Work effectively in both DevOps and GitOps environments to streamline testing processes
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in the testing workflow and implement enhancements
  • Participate in project planning and meetings to ensure testing needs are addressed
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in automated testing
  • Proficiency in C# programming language
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools, including XUnit and Visual Studio Test Explorer
  • Skills in using mocking frameworks such as Moq and Faker.net
  • Familiarity with Azure Load Testing and JMeter for performance testing
  • Experience with test case management and prioritization
  • Background in working with Azure DevOps Test Plans for test orchestration
  • Understanding of testing in distributed microservices environments
  • Ability to work within both automated and manual testing frameworks
  • Flexibility to adapt to new development environments and challenges
  • Capability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining thorough testing standards
  • Excellent command of English (B2+ level), both written and spoken
Nice to have
  • Experience in cloud-based load testing
  • Exposure to agile and DevOps methodologies
  • Previous work with airline booking systems or related software
  • Involvement in continuous integration and continuous deployment processes
  • Hands-on experience with GitOps practices
