We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in developing innovative AI-powered solutions that drive business impact.

This role involves overseeing the creation and deployment of scalable AI infrastructure while fostering collaboration across product, design, and data teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and deployment of AI and ML systems, ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency
  • Oversee the integration of AI infrastructure like vector databases, model orchestration tools, and inference frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, design, and data science to deliver impactful solutions
  • Drive the development of scalable, enterprise-grade ML platforms for structured and unstructured data
  • Manage end-to-end product data pipelines, taxonomies, and schemas to align with e-commerce and other use cases
  • Ensure the adoption of modern MLOps practices to streamline model training, deployment, and monitoring
  • Identify and integrate LLMs and GenAI technologies to address various business challenges
  • Lead API architecture development for efficient communication across AI systems and other platforms
  • Stay informed of emerging trends like RAG pipelines, multimodal LLMs, and prompt orchestration to maintain technical excellence
  • Foster a team culture of innovation, collaboration, and outcome-driven decision-making
Requirements
  • 7+ years of backend development experience, including 3+ years with Python, as well as expertise in server-side technologies like GoLang and PHP
  • Strong foundation in SQL and in-memory storage solutions combined with AI/ML systems architecture and production deployment expertise
  • Proven track record in deploying LLMs and GenAI technologies at scale
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and using modern MLOps tools
  • Deep understanding of API architecture and familiarity with frontend frameworks like Angular or React
  • Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and aligning technical, product, and design goals
  • Background in designing scalable and cost-effective AI platforms with measurable business outcomes
  • Knowledge of product data pipelines, schemas, and taxonomies for e-commerce use cases
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with modern AI infrastructure tools like vector databases and cloud-native ML workflows
  • Hands-on experience with model orchestration tools for building scalable systems
  • Capability to apply AI to both structured and unstructured enterprise data
  • Skills in employing RAG pipelines, multimodal LLMs, or advanced prompt orchestration techniques
