We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Lead UX Designer to join our team in designing a cutting-edge digital system for the oil and gas sector.

This client-centered product will deliver machine learning-based metrics and data visualizations through dynamic, user-friendly interfaces. As a Lead UX Designer, you will be instrumental in crafting user experiences by developing wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to translate complex technical workflows into streamlined and engaging digital interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct SME interviews to extract insights into the domain and specific problem areas
  • Define use cases and conceptualize wireframes to address user needs
  • Create interactive prototypes using Figma to illustrate user flows and interactions
  • Iterate on designs based on stakeholder input and evolving requirements
  • Craft intuitive interfaces that make ML-based metrics and visualizations understandable and engaging
  • Deliver organized and detailed design assets for smooth handoff to the development team
  • Build and manage style guides specifying typography, color schemes, and interaction patterns
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and SMEs to deliver user-centric solutions
  • Align designs with branding guidelines and usability standards
  • Partner with developers during implementation to uphold design intent
Requirements
  • Significant experience (5+ years) in UX/UI design for complex systems, ideally in technical or industrial domains
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or other design and prototyping tools
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design, usability practices, and accessibility requirements
  • Background in transforming technical data, particularly ML-driven metrics, into actionable and visually engaging interfaces
  • Skills in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as HTML and CSS

  • Background in oil and gas or related technical industries
  • Expertise in data visualization tools to communicate intricate information clearly
  • Understanding of creating scalable design systems and UI libraries
