We are looking for a talented and committed Lead Software Quality Engineer with expertise in Python to join our engineering team.

This position will focus on building robust testing solutions and collaborating across teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, high-performance software.

Responsibilities
  • Develop automated testing modules and frameworks using Python and PyTest
  • Define test plans covering both automation and manual testing approaches
  • Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and Bitbucket
  • Work with deployment teams to resolve system-level challenges and enable seamless rollouts
  • Verify backend APIs, services, and cloud-based features for performance and reliability
  • Perform root cause analysis and conduct stress-testing for edge cases
  • Champion quality-focused practices during product design and review processes
  • Build regression testing frameworks and monitor quality metrics effectively
  • Evaluate software systems to improve testability and simplify maintenance
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering and test automation
  • At least 1 year of experience in a leadership capacity
  • Strong background in Python, PyTest, and SQL or pSQL
  • Proficiency in CI tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket pipelines
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and basic knowledge of HTML
  • Knowledge of Git as a version control system
  • Understanding of scientific computing or statistical analysis with Python or R
  • Capability to use tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
Nice to have
  • Background in implementing BDD and E2E testing frameworks using TypeScript
  • Expertise in mocking and validating data for testing purposes
  • Understanding of ETL pipeline testing and ensuring data integrity
  • Familiarity with Docker and other container-based virtualization technologies
  • Competency in advanced debugging and troubleshooting techniques
