Responsibilities
- Develop high-performing, scalable applications using Scala
- Lead project discovery phases and provide key insights for design and implementation
- Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation
- Collaborate with team members as part of an Agile workflow
- Translate technical requirements into reliable, efficient code
- Enhance system performance to meet shifting technological demands
- Offer technical solutions to complex engineering problems
- Drive architectural design decisions and system optimizations
- Facilitate smooth coordination among distributed team members
- Uphold high standards for code quality and team best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Scala development, including scalable, high-performing solutions
- 1+ years of leadership background with relevant responsibilities
- Competency in project discovery, system design, and Agile implementation methods
- Familiarity with scaling high-throughput systems for better performance and reliability
- Skills in creating and refining professional documentation and related assets
- Proficiency in working with distributed teams and strong English communication skills

- Background in JavaScript, PHP, or gRPC
- Understanding of scaling and adapting complex systems in dynamic settings
