We are looking for a Lead Scala Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve essential services that underpin client operations
- Resolve production issues by addressing bugs and implementing enhancements
- Guide and mentor team members, helping to eliminate barriers to productivity
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for workflows
- Collaborate with colleagues across US and EU time zones
- Partner with engineers to collect requirements and influence the team’s development roadmap
- Embrace and learn new programming languages, tools, and technologies as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
- At least one year of experience leading and managing development teams
- Strong proficiency in Scala, with additional experience in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience building and scaling high-throughput applications
- Ability to contribute to project discovery, design, and implementation
- Willingness to work collaboratively in an Agile team as both a leader and mentor
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, at B2+ level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience working with PHP
- Experience using Go Language
- Knowledge of gRPC
