We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead SAP Consultant (SRM) to join our team.
This role is a key part of a global project aimed at transforming and upgrading the SAP landscape, with a specific focus on the SAP SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) in the Sourcing stream. As a subject matter expert, you will drive knowledge sharing, process enhancements, and innovative solutions to ensure SAP SRM processes align with the organization’s evolving objectives.
Responsibilities
- Take part in comprehensive knowledge transfer (KT) sessions to acquire an in-depth understanding of business processes, configurations, and custom code within the SAP SRM in Sourcing stream
- Perform hands-on activities in lower environments to confirm and enhance acquired knowledge
- Update and refine support documents, such as SOPs and runbooks, to ensure they remain accurate and relevant
- Handle escalations and resolve complex issues within the SAP SRM in Sourcing stream efficiently
- Lead shadowing and reverse shadowing activities to ensure a smooth handover during the knowledge transfer process
- Offer ongoing support for SAP SRM in Sourcing operations to maintain process effectiveness and stability
- Drive initiatives focused on improving and innovating SAP SRM in Sourcing workflows to align with business goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP consulting or similar roles
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in leading and managing development teams
- In-depth expertise in SAP Supplier Relationship Management, including configurations and functionalities
- Strong knowledge of sourcing workflows and their integration with SAP SRM
- Advanced problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex system challenges effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities to balance priorities in a dynamic environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and project requirements
- Proficient English language skills (written and spoken) at a B2+ level or higher
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with SAP-SRM: Strategic Sourcing and its role in procurement processes
- Familiarity with large-scale SAP modernization or transformation initiatives
- Certifications in SAP SRM modules or sourcing-related solutions
