We are seeking an experienced Lead SAP Consultant specializing in Forecasting and Replenishment to drive the transition and modernization of SAP solutions for a large-scale global retail initiative. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic leadership, and proactive collaboration to optimize SAP Forecasting and Replenishment processes in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead knowledge transfer (KT) sessions to comprehensively assess business processes, configurations, and custom code for SAP Forecasting and Replenishment solutions
- Oversee validation activities in lower environments and ensure solution readiness aligns with project deliverables
- Take ownership of support and continuous improvement post-project, strategically aligning SAP Forecasting and Replenishment processes with evolving business requirements
- Lead the development and refinement of critical support documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks
- Address escalated incidents and resolve intricate challenges in Forecasting and Replenishment processes, providing advanced troubleshooting guidance
- Facilitate shadowing and reverse shadowing initiatives, ensuring effective and thorough knowledge transition across teams
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration efforts to identify, lead, and implement impactful system improvements
- Ensure a seamless zero-downtime transition of SAP Forecasting and Replenishment processes, spanning sales forecasting, order forecasting, store ordering, and DC ordering
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SAP consulting, with substantial focus on Forecasting and Replenishment processes
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Advanced expertise in SAP Retail and SAP-SCM modules, with proven specialization in Forecasting and Replenishment
- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP SCM-based systems, specifically SAP F&R, paired with implementation experience
- Extensive background in SAP Retail addressing purchasing, inventory, and sales process optimization
- Proven ability to analyze intricate configurations, business logic, and custom code within SAP Forecasting and Replenishment solutions
- Demonstrated expertise in managing escalations and resolving mission-critical incidents through established SAP methodologies
- Strong capability to translate technical challenges into actionable business insights for stakeholders
- Advanced written and verbal English communication skills (B2+ level or higher)
Nice to have
- Demonstrated experience with SAP Retail Purchasing and SAP Retail Sales process integrations
- Hands-on familiarity with SAP-IS Retail solutions in high-performance environments
- Track record of leveraging complementary SAP systems to drive systemic improvements and transformative innovation
