We are seeking an experienced Lead SAP Consultant specializing in Forecasting and Replenishment to lead the transition and modernization of SAP solutions for a global retail initiative. This position calls for deep technical skills, strategic direction, and active collaboration to enhance SAP Forecasting and Replenishment processes in a fast-paced and adaptive setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead knowledge transfer (KT) sessions to thoroughly analyze business processes, configurations, and custom code related to SAP Forecasting and Replenishment
- Oversee validation activities in lower environments, ensuring solution readiness matches project goals
- Take ownership of support and enhancement post-project, aligning SAP Forecasting and Replenishment processes with changing business needs
- Develop and refine essential support documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks
- Address escalated incidents and resolve complex challenges in Forecasting and Replenishment processes, offering advanced troubleshooting solutions
- Facilitate shadowing and reverse shadowing efforts, ensuring efficient and thorough knowledge exchange across teams
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to pinpoint, drive, and roll out impactful system improvements
- Ensure uninterrupted transition of SAP Forecasting and Replenishment processes, covering sales forecasting, order forecasting, store ordering, and DC ordering
- Collaborate with P2P, Finance, Logistics, and MDM stream leads on integration points
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SAP consulting, with extensive focus on Forecasting and Replenishment processes
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a relevant capacity
- Advanced expertise in SAP Retail and SAP-SCM modules, with specialization in Forecasting and Replenishment
- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP SCM-based systems, especially SAP F&R, with hands-on implementation exposure
- Extensive background in SAP Retail for purchasing, inventory management, and sales optimization
- Proficiency in analyzing complex configurations, business logic, and custom code within SAP Forecasting and Replenishment solutions
- Showcase of managing escalations and resolving critical incidents using established SAP practices
- Competency to translate technical obstacles into actionable business insights for stakeholders
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal, at a B2+ level or higher
Nice to have
- Background in SAP Retail Purchasing and SAP Retail Sales process integrations
- Hands-on familiarity with SAP-IS Retail solutions in high-performance settings
- Proven showcase of leveraging complementary SAP systems to initiate systemic improvements and innovative transformations
