We are looking for an experienced Lead SAP Consultant with expertise in Finance (FI), along with integration knowledge of Controlling (CO), Asset Accounting (AA), and Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR), to support an SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Transformation project.
In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert for financial processes and reporting, working closely with both business and technical teams to design, configure, and implement solutions that drive the successful adoption of S/4HANA functionalities for Finance and Controlling operations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business teams to gather and document requirements for Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) workflows
- Review and analyze existing SAP ECC financial processes to identify areas for improvement with S/4HANA capabilities
- Conduct gap analyses to bridge differences between current processes and future business requirements
- Design and configure SAP FI/CO solutions to meet business objectives and ensure compliance with standards
- Enhance General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Cost Center Accounting processes using S/4HANA functionalities
- Ensure solutions meet financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and internal control requirements
- Configure SAP FI modules such as GL, AP/AR, Taxation/Subledger, and Asset Accounting (AA)
- Integrate SAP FI with SAP CO for profitability analysis, costing, and financial reporting
- Ensure alignment and compatibility with related modules like MM, SD, and PP for seamless processes
- Develop and execute test cases for financial workflows and system integrations
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure alignment with business operations and functionality requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure smooth deployment and readiness for production environments
- Create training materials and deliver practical workshops for business users on updated financial processes and functionalities
- Provide post-go-live support to ensure successful adoption of the S/4HANA system
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, workflows, and test results for future reference
- Deliver regular project updates, highlight risks, and recommend mitigation strategies
- Build financial reports and dashboards using S/4HANA tools like Embedded Analytics
- Support the activation of S/4HANA financial tools within the Brownfield migration strategy
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate migration of ECC configurations and master data into S/4HANA
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP FI modules, including GL, AP, AR, Taxation, and Asset Accounting (AA)
- At least 1 year of experience leading and managing development teams
- Practical experience in integrating SAP FI with SAP CO for profitability and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA processes and functionalities
- Hands-on experience with Brownfield transformation projects and migration tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher
