We are looking for a Lead SAP CAP Developer to drive the design and development of solutions within SAP Field Service Management.
In this role, you will collaborate with functional and technical teams to enhance FSM processes, ensuring seamless service operations and improved user experience. Join us to lead initiatives that advance field service capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement features in key FSM domains including Planning & Dispatching, Reporting, Master Data, and Business Rules
- Participate in planning sessions and requirement reviews to clarify technical aspects and assist in root cause investigations
- Develop and expand FSM functionalities on SAP Business Technology Platform with CAP (Node.js or Java), custom OData services, Shell UI apps, Event Mesh, and Webhooks
- Create intuitive front-end components in SAPUI5 integrated into FSM Web UI or BTP Launchpad, such as views, controllers, routing, custom controls, and OData bindings
- Improve FSM Mobile App by adding offline sync, device feature integration, tailored reports, and workflow enhancements
- Collaborate closely with both functional and technical teams to guarantee effective solution deployment
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for all developed solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience of 5+ years in SAP CAP development utilizing Node.js or Java
- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP CRM
- Demonstrated expertise in SAPUI5 development for both web and mobile environments
- Hands-on background with SAP Field Service Management or equivalent service management platforms
- Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken (B2+ level)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Jaspersoft for generating FSM reports
- Experience integrating REST/OData APIs, Sync Services, and CPI/iFlows
- Knowledge of secure coding practices including OAuth2 and JWT
- Working experience with HANA SQL, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing
- Background working within Agile methodologies
