We are looking for a Lead Ruby Developer to join our team, working on an exciting project that aims to revolutionize the way people interact with technology. As a Lead Ruby Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development team and ensuring the quality of the codebase, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement new features. Responsibilities
  • Lead the development team and ensure the quality of the codebase, adhering to best practices and coding standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement new features, ensuring the alignment of technical solutions with business objectives
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to the development team, ensuring the quality of the codebase and adherence to coding standards
  • Design and implement release strategies, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance and support to the development team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Ruby development, demonstrating your expertise in the language and its ecosystem
  • Experience with Go language, Docker, and GitHub, enabling you to design and implement scalable and maintainable applications
  • Proven experience in code review and release strategy, showcasing your ability to ensure the quality of the codebase and deliver software on time
  • Experience in leading development teams and mentoring junior developers, reflecting your leadership skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills and strong critical thinking capabilities to effectively convey feedback and insights
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
Nice to have
  • Experience with TDD
  • Experience in building and implementing A/B tests
  • Experience in building highly scalable and performant applications
