Responsibilities
- Handle backend and frontend development responsibilities
- Work closely with team members to enhance development workflows
- Conduct code reviews to uphold high-quality coding standards
- Take part in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to agile methods
- Identify and fix bugs and security issues efficiently
- Apply Infrastructure as Code techniques to manage AWS environments
- Maintain application accessibility best practices
- Build and sustain RESTful APIs consistent with SOLID principles
- Improve PostgreSQL database operations
- Support continuous integration and deployment activities
- Guide and mentor junior developers within the team
- Communicate effectively in a distributed team setup
- Rapidly adapt to emerging tools and technologies
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Python and FastAPI, at least 3 years
- Advanced knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and services
- Proficient with PostgreSQL relational database systems
- Skilled in ReactJS and Next.js frontend frameworks
- Strong command of TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and RESTful API design
- Familiarity with software design patterns including SOLID principles
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments, minimum 2 years
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities
- Effective communication skills for team collaboration
- Ability to collaborate efficiently within distributed teams
- English language proficiency at B2 level or above
- Understanding of large language models (LLM)
Nice to have
- Experience in fixing accessibility-related bugs
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.x accessibility standards
- Familiarity with CSS and SASS
- Basic understanding of AI and prompt engineering concepts
