We are seeking a Lead Python Developer to guide the creation of an advanced Python environment designed for large-scale development, automation, and seamless AWS integration alongside other systems.
This position emphasizes cloud-based execution, access control, and tool development to enhance operational efficiency for investors and associated teams.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a scalable Python development platform in the cloud
- Oversee authentication and token access, including AWS integration
- Integrate Python libraries with infrastructure, databases, and external services
- Configure Kubernetes (K8s) infrastructure within AWS environments
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines and Docker strategies
- Implement integration with services like OneDrive to streamline workflows and external connections
- Maintain Python libraries for dependency resolution and optimization
- Supervise artifactory repository management for improved package distribution
- Develop and support APIs with a focus on performance and scalability
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear technical guidance
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Python and cloud-centric development
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Background in AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes setup, and CI/CD tools
- Understanding of Python libraries and their interoperability with other systems
- Familiarity with Docker, Artifactory, and contemporary deployment methods
- Competency in API development and system integration
- Knowledge of infrastructure and foundational networking principles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface professionally with customers (B2+ level)
Nice to have
- Background in financial or investor-focused platforms
- Experience working in custom Python workspaces for analysis or automation
- Knowledge of integrating additional cloud services and adhering to security best practices
