Take the opportunity to join us as a Lead Progress Developer, where your role will focus on leveraging your expertise in Progress OpenEdge to develop and maintain robust database applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop database applications using Progress OpenEdge RDBMS 11.7
- Maintain character-based and GUI-based applications programming with Progress OpenEdge ABL
- Deploy Windows client applications through Microsoft AVD ThinApp and Intune
- Handle server-side management for Red Hat Linux platforms from versions 7.5 to 7.8
- Ensure seamless integration using Service Oriented Architecture tools like Sonic ESB and Dell Boomi
- Collaborate with peers to address technical challenges and resolve issues
- Enhance functionalities and oversee the handling of change requests
- Follow rigorous security and authorization standards in application processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Progress OpenEdge 11.7 and Progress OpenEdge ABL
- 1+ years of leadership experience in relevant roles
- Competency in character-based and GUI development
- Background in managing OS-level platforms such as Microsoft AVD ThinApp and Red Hat Linux
- Knowledge of automated deployment systems utilizing Intune
- Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture tools, including Sonic ESB and Dell Boomi
- Strong problem-solving aptitude
- Professional-level English language proficiency
