We are seeking a Lead Power BI Model Developer to refine and oversee the restructuring of a high-impact composite Power BI model that integrates diverse data sources, including SharePoint. You will partner with ABI modelers and business stakeholders to improve model scalability, enhance data query performance, and manage resource efficiency across projects.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and oversee adjustments to current composite model architecture to address performance challenges
- Reorganize and refine data models to reduce complexity and improve maintainability
- Streamline DAX expressions and implement comprehensive query folding strategies for faster processing
- Coordinate with ABI modelers to verify compliance with enterprise data management standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align models with evolving business reporting strategies
- Supervise and refine data warehouse performance management techniques for cost optimization
- Establish, maintain, and update best practices for scalable model design and strategy
- Guide troubleshooting processes and remediation efforts for data refresh and performance-related challenges
- Provide strategic recommendations and insights for improving future models and workflows
- Stay informed about advanced Power BI capabilities and emerging analytics technologies
Requirements
- Extensive expertise in Power BI with 5+ years of experience in data modeling and business intelligence solutions
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Advanced mastery of DAX for constructing and refining complex calculations and data aggregation processes
- Significant experience in utilizing data warehousing strategies for scalable and efficient analytics
- Proven track record of overseeing composite model restructuring and executing high-performance optimization
- Capability to autonomously oversee tasks in high-impact, collaborative projects with minimal dependency
- Exceptional communication and organizational proficiency to interface with technical teams and key stakeholders
- Proven ability to engage with domain experts to design solutions aligned with dynamic organizational goals
- Excellent English proficiency (C1 level or higher) for delivering clear communication and thorough documentation
