We are looking for an experienced Lead Performance Tester to join our team.

In this role, you will focus on assessing and enhancing the scalability, reliability, and overall performance of our systems. You will collaborate with various teams to identify and address performance issues, ensuring the successful delivery of robust and efficient software solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and execute strategies to assess and enhance system performance and scalability
Build and maintain frameworks and scripts to support performance testing efforts
Evaluate performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to enhance system efficiency and stability
Simulate user load scenarios to validate system behavior under different conditions
Present detailed performance findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Establish performance benchmarks and standards to guide system improvements
Keep up-to-date with advancements in performance testing tools and best practices

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in performance and scalability testing
Minimum of one year of experience managing and leading testing teams
Proficiency in load generation and analysis using tools like Artillery
Hands-on experience with performance testing in cloud-based microservices environments
In-depth knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and ELK
Experience with integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines
Advanced skills in automating testing processes, data collection, and reporting
Strong English proficiency, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to Have

Nice to have

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Knowledge of programming languages like Go, Scala, or TypeScript
Background in the eCommerce domain with familiarity in its workflows
Experience using additional performance testing tools, including JMeter or Blazemeter
Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture principles
