Lead .NET Developer (ASP.NET Web Forms)

We are looking for a knowledgeable and skilled Lead .NET Developer to expand our development team.

The ideal candidate will bring proficiency in .NET technologies and ASP.NET Web Forms, contributing to the enhancement and success of our product. As part of a globally distributed team, you will collaborate to deliver high-quality web applications and modernize existing systems to meet both current and future requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Design, code, test, and debug web applications to align with project goals and quality benchmarks
  • Add new functionality to existing products while following industry best practices
  • Create new system components and incorporate third-party tools to expand functionality
  • Participate in code reviews and enhance team standards for quality output
  • Ensure development testing adequately validates deliverables against requirements
  • Offer feedback during product backlog refinement and planning meetings
  • Analyze requirements thoroughly to implement precise solutions
  • Maintain and optimize existing infrastructure based on evolving needs
  • Work cohesively with the team to meet timelines within a globally distributed structure
  • Guide junior developers by sharing expertise and providing mentorship
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in .NET (including .NET Core) and C#
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript with proven skills in jQuery
  • Deep understanding of the ASP.NET MVC pattern and Bootstrap
  • Expertise in ASP.NET Web Forms or transitioning Web Forms to MVC
  • Competency in LINQ and relational databases, including T-SQL
  • Proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, and performing unit tests with attention to detail
  • Strong communication capability and ability to collaborate within a distributed team
  • Skills in teamwork, meeting timelines, and assisting peers when necessary
  • Dedication to producing high-quality code and accurate project estimations
  • Background in mentoring junior developers and promoting their growth
  • Flexibility to participate in on-call support and adjust working hours to overlap with US time zones
Nice to have
  • Proficiency in Bootstrap CSS
  • Understanding of GCP, PoEAA, patterns, and anti-patterns
  • Background in managing multithreading scenarios and crafting solutions
