Lead Mobile DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a skilled remote Lead Mobile DevOps Engineer to optimize our mobile application development processes.

Your focus will be on automating and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient deployment cycles across Android and iOS platforms. This role requires expertise in Bitrise, Fastlane, GitHub, and Datadog, and you will work collaboratively with development teams to integrate new features and tests into automated pipelines.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and development of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines via Bitrise and GitHub
  • Management and implementation of release processes through Google Play Console for Android and TestFlight and App Connect for iOS applications
  • Utilization of Fastlane to automate build and release processes, streamlining deployment and testing
  • Integration and maintenance of Datadog for application monitoring
  • Collaboration with development teams to integrate new features and tests into automated pipelines
  • Performance monitoring of live apps and optimization through continuous feedback from Datadog and other monitoring tools
  • Assurance of compliance with all digital security protocols during the build and release processes
  • Documentation of the CI/CD process and updating as necessary to ensure up-to-date practices and tools are employed
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of issues in the CI/CD pipelines, reducing downtime and improving the efficiency of the deployment process
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Mobile DevOps Engineer
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of engineers
  • Expertise in Bitrise, Fastlane, and GitHub
  • Experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively with development teams to integrate new features and tests into automated pipelines
  • In-depth knowledge of digital security protocols and how to ensure compliance during the build and release processes
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to reduce downtime and improve deployment efficiency
